Reflection and Transmission of Acoustic Waves Through the Layer of Multifractional Bubbly Liquid

Abstract


A mathematical model, which determines the reflection and transmission of acoustic waves through the medium containing a layer of multifractional bubbly liquid is presented. The influence of the thickness of the bubble layer and the vapor concentration in the bubbles is shown. For a layer of water with air bubbles a satisfactory agreement between the theoretical dependence of the transmission coefficient with known experimental data is found.
