Last modified: 2017-05-26
Abstract
An electromagnetic device consists of a pendulum sphere completed by the magnet, the spherical shell equipped with electric coils (coils) for inducing electromotive force. The coils are placed in rows, oriented circumstantially at arm’s length of the pendulum. At the lowest point the sphere is placed an optional magnet destabilizing (repulsive magnet) vertical position of
the pendulum. As a result of kinematic frame excitation in a horizontal direction the pendulum fall in a circular motion with a corresponding
radius and frequency-dependent stimulation . Moving the magnet would generate a current the coils. We present the theoretical and experimental results of the pendulum motion and discuss various types of motion in the context of energy harvesting.
