Abstract

The present study aims at developing a new strategy to model the spatial variability of slip on the rupture plane using Multi-dimensional Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (MEEMD) technique. To develop this model, we analyzed a large dataset comprising 303 published finite-fault rupture models from 152 past earthquakes with varying fault mechanisms and in the magnitude range of 4.11
